The Budget Analysis Division
The main functions of the Budget Analysis Division of the Parliamentary Budget Office are as follow:
- Periodic review of budget planning and budget execution process, amendments to the budget law, as well as, considering the existing time and human resources, the main trends of the public financial management system;
- Assessment of compliance of fiscal policy course with existing fiscal rules and mid-term fiscal sustainability track, as well as preparation of independent medium term fiscal forecasts;
- Preparation of additional research publications on specific aspects of fiscal policy and public financial management system.
